Lately I just haven't been able to get my head out of my crafts. It all started w a china cabinet. As the vintage flea market aficionado I am, I couldn't help but pick up a couple flea market and vintage style magazines and I couldn't get my nose out of pinterest. I found the greatest ideas for my home! China cabinet as a book case?? For sure! Why not? My guy bought me my china cabinet for Valentine's Day. Isn't he just the sweetest?

Oh how I love Minty green color! So first I painted it dark brown, then lightly brush stoked w minty green. With a 120g sandpaper, I sanded to distress. Finally I sealed it w satin finish.
I went to a used book store in Huntington Beach and bought this 1980's music book (also bought a 1928 poem book for another project ...Score!) to glue on the back of the inside of the hutch. I did put lots of love into it. I cherish my first piece :)
Well I am now into my 4th project! I enjoy it so much that I might start an etsy shop.
